Arm Rest and Center Console Pads

Arm rest and center console pads are found in virtually every automobile. Some companies that make these components for OEM’s use foam-in-place technology. Derby has worked with several of these companies to eliminate the foam-in-place work and replace it with cost effective die cut foam. We have worked with our foam suppliers to develop a low cost foam that gives the appropriate firmness, and meets OEM specifications for compression set. Using our die cut foam as a replacement to foam-in-place has allowed our customers to significantly reduce internal scrap caused by inconsistent foam-in-place operations.
